Different worlds.
One curious mind.
I’m a data scientist and product builder pursuing my MBA at Oxford’s Saïd Business School. My path has taken me from South Korea to the United States and now the United Kingdom.
My route here has included military service, university research, teaching and product development. I served as a Korean–English interpreter and squad leader in the Republic of Korea Navy before returning to Boston University, where I graduated in Data Science with a minor in Business Administration.
At BU, I progressed from course support to curriculum development and a role supporting the Online Master’s in Data Science. Alongside that work, I founded GradeLoop AI to evaluate technical coursework. I’ve also led a software and data team at eleven58 and now develop a mobile platform for Globus Fencing Academy.
Beyond work, I fence sabre and have joined Christ Church’s novice rowing team and Oxford University Polo Club. Sport is another part of my life at Oxford.
Life beyond workEXPERIENCE I BRING
Making technical work understandable.
At BU, I supported more than 900 graduate learners across six cohorts and worked with over 20 faculty and programme staff. I evaluated technical assignments and turned coding, modelling and analytical issues into actionable feedback.
Teaching & curriculum workConnecting data and product.
At eleven58, I led six data and software engineers working on object detection with more than 10,000 images of recyclable materials. I collaborated with mechanical engineers and executives as we developed a recycling-sorter MVP.

In the Navy’s Submarine Force Command, I provided Korean–English interpretation and translation. As a squad leader and counsellor, I also supported the well-being of more than 200 enlisted personnel.
