THE WORK
From idea
to practice.
I work with Globus Fencing Academy on a custom mobile app and improvements to its administrative workflows. This is an ongoing product-development role in a sport I also practise.
The setting
Globus runs fencing lessons, group classes, camps and competition support. That mix of coaching and academy activity is the setting for the administrative and mobile product work.
My contribution
My scope covers developing the academy’s mobile platform and improving the workflows that support its operations. The work connects day-to-day organisational needs with a custom software product.
A connection beyond software
I fence sabre and have been part of both Boston University and Oxford University’s fencing clubs. At BU, I also managed the club’s budget and financial reporting as treasurer.
